Playing with Light was some experimental photography that I tried, it was my first attempt at something like this. A friend of mine was spelling his name out with a torch and this was the result.
The problem with the 60 second exposure is that, the background then becomes very visible which is a good thing if the background has some interesting element, like buildings and stuff … either way it gets the focus off of the light painting.
In fact there is more interesting stuff you can come up within 30sec to a minute
D90 gives a total of 30 minutes of exposure time you can actually catch the stars move (i.e focus on the stars and wait for the earth to move 30 mins)
This is cool! What camera do you use? Can you also share your camera settings?
Sure dude … this picture I do not remember the settings but it was a long exposure shot with 30 seconds .
I use a Nikon D90.
ah lovely!!! Try out 60-sec exposure too will probably be able to see a lot more!!
.
Btw, how many seconds ka exposure does the D-90 allow?
